“Pink Lake Dawn” - Dale Johnson

These words have lived for years in a pink cardboard hatbox with ‘memoriesscribbled on the top.

That is where they were destined to stay until a
series of events lead to them being set free.

Some of these words were originally written for performances in the historic Bijou Theatre, in my hometown of Esperance, Western Australia.

Others were penned as poems or writings, to add another dimension to art-exhibition catalogues, and some just for the joy of writing.

It is now for listeners to judge if these words deserve liberation.

Whatever the case, thank you for your indulgence.
